The Carpegna Park towards Tuscany

We will set off from the town of Montecopiolo, which we will reach by minibus from Riccione, from where we will climb towards Mount Carpegna along dirt tracks with some stretches of tarmacked road, and then descend towards the town of Carpegna, the most important in the area with its very ancient Ducal Palace.

From Carpegna a challenging and  spectacular stretch begins along a dirt track, which will lead us to cross the border into Tuscany, in the Sasso Simone and Simoncello Nature Reserve. A long fun descent will lead us towards the town of San Gianni, where we will have dinner, sampling the local food, and where we will spend the night.

On the second day, after a rich breakfast, we will return towards the woods of the Sasso Simone and Simoncello Nature Reserve, which hosts a military firing range in disuse, from where we will admire the surrounding view, which encompasses the Adriatic Coast to the east, and embraces the mountains of the Apennines to the west [...]

The week programme:

SUNDAY	9.30 am mountain bike tour in the Romagna and Marche Regions 40/50 kms 7 pm dinner
MONDAY	9.30 am mountain bike tour in the Romagna and Marche Regions 40/50 kms 1.00 am Barbecue in our country house in Vecciano and balsamic vinegar tasting 6 pm briefing with the guides for the " A journey in Tuscany" tour 7.30 pm typical dinner in hotel
TUESDAY	8.30 am Riccione - Montecopiolo (by minibus), Montecopiolo - San Gianni Km 28 (by MTB) 4.00 pm arrival at San Gianni and accommodation in country house 7.30 pm typical dinner of the place
WEDNESDAY	8.30 am San Gianni - Riccione Km 73 5.00 arrival in Riccione 7.00 pm typical Romagnola dinner
THURSDAY	9.30 am mountain bike tour in the Romagna region and stop for wine tasting and typical products of the region during the 40/50 km route 7.00 pm dinner at the hotel
FRIDAY	9.30 am mountain bike route in the Romagna and Marche region of about 40/50 km 7.00 pm "Sapori e Piaceri" tasting dinner 9.00 pm Evening photos and prizes

General information

• The program is middle-trained mountain bikers
• All services for cyclists and also a first-aid and mechanical service minibus following the group during the 2-day excursion.
• The cost of the package is indicative and is calculated on 5 participants.
• Please bring a small trolley with the bare essentials for 2 days (not large Samsonite suitcases :-)
• The suggested weekly program can be modified and agreed with us at your convenience

Prices are per person, in double or twin room, either Superior room or miniapartment. Single room supplement € 40 per day.
