Emilia-Romagna has been crowned the region “with the best food in the world” by the famous US monthly Forbes magazine. Of course, if you ask any Italian where the best food is, they’ll say “at my grandmother’s”, but unfortunately, their specialities are often only for family members.
So, we’ve organised a food and wine week to help you discover what makes our cuisine one of the best in the world. We’ll take you cycling every day to discover a new flavour in some of the most characteristics inns and trattorias in our area.
Every itinerary has an inn or restaurant as its destination, every inn or restaurant has a speciality and every speciality will stay in your heart forever.

In Romagna, there are little treasures hiding behind every hill and we’ll go and discover them one by one. We’ll visit our region by bicycle: here, every bend reveals something new, whether an ancient fortress, wonderful panoramic views or “that long, blue line” the Adriatic sea.
However, what we’ll explore in more depth are the culinary secrets of our land: the creamy tagliatelle with beans and cuttlefish at da Savino trattoria, ravioli filled with ricotta cheese and chard at del Passatore trattoria and strozzapreti with sausage and mushrooms at Cantina Fiammetta are just some of the dishes you can savour… we prefer to let you discover the rest yourselves!
Fresh pasta, made according to tradition and hand-rolled and all accompanied by wines from our vineyards.
During the week you can also visit FICO Eataly World in Bologna, the world’s largest food park that highlights all the vibrancy of food and wine in Italy and its gastronomic specialities.

General information:
• The food and wine week can be organized with at least 5 people.
• This tour is recommended for cyclists in the Cappuccino Light group, with speeds of 16-18 km/h and an average of 60/70 km per itinerary.
• The trattorias and inns chosen may vary based on the days they are open and the products offered will differ depending on the season.
• Every day we can arrange a transfer for people accompanying cyclists to reach the trattorias/inns, subject to payment of a fee.
