MONASTERIES AND ABBEYS
(Romagna and the Marche)

We’ll set off from Riccione by bicycle and head to Gradara Castle, already popular with many of our bicycle-tourism excursion enthusiasts, but always well worth a visit!

We’ll then climb towards the villages of Mondaino and Saludecio, witnesses to centuries of history, from the Middle Ages to the present day. We’ll sleep in a comfortable country house located along the valley floor of the Foglia River.

For the second stage we’ll climb to Urbino, the cradle of the Renaissance, where our tour guide will tell us all about the history of the town, leading us to its most delightful spots. In the late morning, we’ll head to Saludecio where we’ll spend the second night in an ancient facility run by nuns.

The third and final day of our excursion will take us from Saludecio to Riccione, passing by way of Montefiore and its fortress and then the ancient castle of Albereto, on the border with the Republic of San Marino.

Three days of intense cycling, in great company and enjoying culture, good food and healthy relaxation.
Some of our region’s best typical dishes and delicious wine will complete the experience!

General information

• The program is aimed at cyclists who use the bicycle as a means of transport to discover new places and admire new landscapes from a privileged point of view, the duration of each excursion will be about 5/6 hours at a low speed, it is not necessary to be particularly trained (Dolce vita group).
• All services for cyclists and also a first-aid and mechanical service minibus at disposal of the group during the 3-days excursion.
• The cost of the package is indicative and is calculated on 5 participants.
• Please bring a small trolley with the bare essentials for 3 days (not large Samsonite suitcases :-)
• The suggested weekly program can be modified and agreed with us at your convenience
