THE ROUTE OF ORIGINS
(Romagna and the Marche)

We’ll set off from Riccione by bike and head to the ancient village of Verucchio, through the countryside inland from the coast, where we’ll stop to admire beautiful panoramic views over the Marecchia Valley and the coast of Romagna.
From Verucchio, we’ll continue to ride towards San Leo, admiring the town’s famous, charming mediaeval fortress, which we’ll reach after a long, but gentle climb.

We’ll visit the centre of the old town, which clings to the rocky spur, as well as the castle and Romanesque church. Then, we’ll set off once again towards Secchiano, where we’ll spend the first night.
For the second stage we’ll climb to the ancient Republic of San Marino, along a route that’s uphill all the way, but we’ll tackle it at a slow pace so that we can enjoy the scenery and nature around us.

Once in the old town centre, we can visit it at leisure, either by bicycle or on foot and admire the spectacular panoramic views it affords and its historical buildings that bear witness to the centuries of history of the oldest republic in the world!

Our return will be all downhill as far as Riccione.
Some of our region’s best typical dishes and delicious wine will complete the experience!

General information

• The program is aimed at cyclists who use the bicycle as a means of transport to discover new places and admire new landscapes from a privileged point of view, the duration of each excursion will be about 5/6 hours at a low speed, it is not necessary to be particularly trained (Dolce vita group).
• All services for cyclists and also a first-aid and mechanical service minibus at disposal of the group during the 2-days excursion.
• The cost of the package is indicative and is calculated on 5 participants.
• Please bring a small trolley with the bare essentials for 2 days (not large Samsonite suitcases :-)
• The suggested weekly program can be modified and agreed with us at your convenience
