Gola del Furlo Experience

An exciting bike tour from Riccione to the Gola del Furlo and back will take us through an extraordinary cycling journey. Starting from Riccione, we'll venture into the hilly hinterland of the Marche region. Along the route, we'll be surrounded by picturesque hillside landscapes, with scenic roads and breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

The Gola del Furlo is the highlight of this excursion. It's a narrow gorge carved by the Metauro River and surrounded by majestic rock formations. Its natural charm and direct connection to history make this stage unique. We'll admire the towering rock walls as we pedal through this spectacular gorge.

After exploring the Gola del Furlo, you'll return to Riccione, once again enjoying the captivating hillside views. This tour is a memorable experience that combines natural beauty with the historical charm of the Marche region. Suitable for cyclists of various skill levels, it offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in pristine nature and explore the millennia-old history of this magical place.

SPRING: Thursday 10 April 2025 and Thursday 19 June 2025
AUTUMN: Thursday 16 October 2025

General information:

• The program is designed for moderately experienced cyclists, with an average speed of 21-25 km per hour (Cappuccino, Cappuccino Super, and Limoncino groups).
  
• Cyclists in the Cappuccino group will need to stop in the city of Urbino.
• We provide support, supplies, and assistance along the route with our minibus.
• A hearty packed lunch will be served, including pasta, cold cuts, cheese, and desserts, at the halfway point.
• The "Furlo Experience" excursion will only be carried out upon reaching a minimum of 10 participants with 2 guaranteed cycling guides.
  
• There is a participation fee of Euro 39 per person
• The program may be subject to changes regarding routes and indicated times.
• In case of bad weather, the route will be rescheduled if possible for the following day.
• The departure is scheduled for 8:00 AM, and the return around 5:00 PM.
• We recommend bringing spare cycling clothing, leg warmers, arm warmers, and a rain jacket.
